Korean Tteokbokki (Seafood Tofu Curd & Seasoned Fish Roll (Chikuwa))

Ingredients

1. Oil 

    - 1½ tbsp

2. Onion 

    - ½ pc – sliced

3. Cabbage & Carrot 

    - 1 cup 

4. Rice Cake (Tteok)

   - 1 cup

5. Sauce**

    - 1 ½ tbsp

6. Water / Stock 

    - 1 cup 

7. PFP Seafood Tofu Curd & PFP Seasoned Fish Roll (Chikuwa)

    - 8 - 10pcs

8. Mozzarella Cheese (opt.)

9. Sesame Seeds 

10. Green Onion – finely chopped

 

** Sauce: 

Korean chilli paste (Gochujang) - 1 tbsp

Soy sauce - 1 tsp

Sugar - 1 tsp

Minced Garlic - 1 tsp 

 

Steps

1. Put a skillet over medium heat with oil and onion, then cook until fragrant and translucent. 

2. Add cabbage, carrot, rice cake, sauce, and water/stock bring to boil.

3. Then add PFP products and turn down to medium-low heat cook for 5 – 10 mins until the sauce is thickened. 

4. Garnish with sesame seed and green onion. 

4. *Optional step* Add Mozzarella Cheese and bake for 3 – 5 mins until cheese melted.
